Surdists United is a nonprofit 501c3 entity and a collective movement of visual artists, filmmakers, poets, storytellers, writers, & performers committed to creating art about Deaf experiences and social justice through ARTivism. Tax-deductible donations ensure that SU will:
-continue to work on the De’VIA curriculum (https://deviacurr.wordpress.com/)
– provide workshops in schools, communities and prisons,
– generate and promote De’VIA exhibits,
– create opportunities for De’VIA surdists to share and explore new works
– engage in ARTivism for social justice and equality
